Comment: The 3D-Version of Dial M for Murder shown by ARTE in August 2010 proved to be a huge disappointment, because the quality was as bad as a VHS recording - presumably the same master was used, which was shown in the 1980s by the WDR during a 3D-series and is also in circulation on some bootleg discs. The 3D effect is sometimes visible, but often the image pairs fall out of alignment and cause headaches. The comparison with the 2008 american DVD from Warner shows that there are worlds between the two masters.
