Comment: The comparison between the German 2005 DVD and the new 2012 transfer from the BFI shows that the older video master was much too bright and didn't represent the 1995 restoration of the color version very well. The captures of the partly hand-tinted black-and-white print are not exact matches, because the two versions consist mostly of completely different takes and perspectives. Kommentar: Der Vergleich zwischen der deutschen DVD von 2005 und dem neuen BFI-Transfer von 2012 zeigt, daß das alte Videomaster viel zu hell war und die 1995er Restauration der Farbversion nicht sehr gut wiedergegeben hat. Die Bilder von der teilweise handcolorierten Schwarzweiß-Fassung passen nicht genau, weil die beiden Versionen fast ausschließlich aus verschiedenen Takes und Perspektiven bestehen.
